Power Boat Courses

Powerboating has become increasingly popular in recent years, and along with this, so has the need for professional tuition. We now offer the full range of RYA National Powerboat Certificates, catering for the beginner through to those wishing to learn more specific and advanced techniques.

All courses have a strong emphasis on safe, competent boat handling.

Conducted over two days, the Level II award is designed to provide thorough instruction and coverage of powerboat handling techniques. The course includes low and high speed manoeuvring as well as shore-based theory sessions. The Level II certificate is the qualification requested by many associations and professional bodies as a powerboat 'driving license', and is the standard required to apply for the ICC (sportsboat).
